1) Versuchen vor den Bobbels herzukriechen und uns zu sowas wie den Statthalter von Aridia machen
2) Versuchen als kleien Zecke den großen Hund zu beissen, wann immer wir die Chance kriegen (Mir lieber)
Lasst uns BoB vernichten!
Is Trouble Brewing in the North?Pure panic or start of a new great war?2007.01.25 16:02Mercenary Coalition has declared war on Dusk and Dawn.Mercenary Coalition has declared war on Imperial Republic Of the North.2007.01.26 18:53Mercenary Coalition has declared war on Morsus Mihi.Mercenary Coalition has declared war on RAZOR Alliance."I hired MC."SirMolle, Evolution CEO (Band of Brothers)"I am not sure as to what intention Sir Molle might have had in that thread, but as of this moment I've received no official word from our client that they/she/he wishes to be 'public'."Seleene, Body Count Inc. CEO (Mercenary Coalition)TRIBUTE, BRANCH, VENAL, TENAL, PURE BLIND, FADE, DEKLEIN - Mercenary Coalition has declared war on the key players of the northern block. Their employer remains anonymous, but everyone appears to believe this is a part of a Band of Brothers probing strategy.BoB ActivitiesCoinciding with the MC contract, two Band of Brothers corporations, Destructive Influence and Evolution, have been seen flying freighters in the direction of Tribute region. DICE and EVOL gangs have been spotted in all northern regions, both sniper battleship gangs and HAC gangs. Despite some accusations that Outbreak and BoB might be working aside, the two entities were seen fighting each other in the north.MC ActivitiesMC were seen flying a combination of capital ships and light escort, mostly t2 frigs and cruisers with at least one mothership for support.Seleene, leader of the Mercenary Coalition, hinted in an interview, which you can read in this issue, that MC might be contracted for a bit longer than two weeks, that the contract was pulled on short notice, and that it was expanded at a later time to include Morsus Mihi and RAZOR, as well. They call their current level of engagement "probing and skirmishing".Outbreak ActivitiesOutbreak was, as previously mentioned, seen fighting both groups, and despite the raging paranoia on the eve-online forums, they do appear to be neutral in this conflict, and will probably take each opportunity to hurt any party other than themselves and have as much interesting fights as they can find. The Northern BlockThe primary actors in the "Northern Block" are, of course, D2. They have been confirmed of having a titan (Erebus, the Gallente titan), and even though the exact size of their current capital fleet is unknown, it is expected to be very large, having been built during the past six months without larger conflicts in the north that would require capital ships. Most of the old G Alliance players are still in D2, probably including a lot of their PvP-ers, but it is still unknown at this point how many quality PvP-ers left the alliance in the past months due to a lack of interesting conflicts.According to RaYmEn, spokesperson for the D2 alliance, the D2 "are ready for BoB all the time, and are waiting". He notes that the old G PvP core is alive and active in D2, and emphasises that POS wars in Cloud Ring and Tribute regions did more than enough to keep them lean and active.Other notable alliances in the northern block are those MC was hired to attack: IRON, Morsus Mihi, and RAZOR. Together, these alliances hold most of the north, and only FLA in Deklein region and PURE in the Vale of the Silent seem to be spared for now. The Start of a New Great War?Though it is too early to tell at this moment, the current situation can only be expected to escalate further. Tensions between the Northern Block and Band of Brothers always existed, but really started taking momentum on the forums as everyone realised that ASCN was a paper tiger, and that the taking of Paragon Soul, Esoteria, and Feythabolis effectively cost nothing for BoB, while they stand to gain a lot through regular rents. While the north started signing non-aggression pacts with the Red Alliance's coalition of allies (TCF, OHGOD, CA, and others), BoB seems to have made friends with Lotka Volterra again, and there are now two quite distinct power blocks in the game - Band of Brothers with Lotka Volterra, together with their renters and smaller allies, versus pretty much every other 0.0 alliance in New Eden. If the current conflict escalates as far as it appears to have the potential to, our universe might see the start of the first pan-universal war. If it really comes to this, no one will be able to afford to remain neutral, and no point in 0.0 space will be safe from the war. -Jonathan FisherCEO, Head AnalystGalactic Security
