Was ich an KSP und auch an anderen spielen wie Factorio oder Empyrion so mag ist die offene entwicklung. Die spiele sind irgendwann mit einer alpha/beta gestartet und in EA gegangen, teilweise mit kostenlosen demos, haben den markt erkundet ob da eine spielerschaft vorhanden ist und dieses spiel vorangetrieben, haben die spieler mit eingebunden (bei empyrion immer wieder umfragen gemacht z.b.) so das letzendlich wirklich gute spiele daraus wurden.

Häufig von den großen Konzernen in China und USA praktiziert, aber die wenigsten Regionen haben noch nennenswerte Großunternehmen die nicht so handeln. dass tencent überall drin hängt weiß ich .. hab ich Tencent irgendwo erwähnt? es ging mir primär um die gängelung kleiner developer durch epic unter der scheinheiligen fahne nur gutes für sie zu tun. Ja, Tencent ist auch mist und auch ein guter grund sich von denen fern zu halten, aber gerade überhaupt nicht das thema gewesen
Was da gerade mit KSP2 passiert sieht irgendwie wie ein kampf um einen AAA titel aus.
Ich glaube du romantisierst da sehr viel KSP1 in KSP2 rein. Das Studio von KSP1 hat das Spiel 2017 verkauft und KSP2 war von Anfang an eine Auftragsarbeit bei einem Studio das nichts mit Teil 1 zu tun hatte. Die ganze Idee von der Community getriebenen Entwicklung die du (und ich und die meisten hier) magst war da nicht mehr drin.
