OK, I think the picture has clarified enough to talk about the numbers, etc involved...PL+SOT formed up early again counter suspected rescue attempt of a X13 Large Tower coming out of reinforced in PNQY. We got word of capitals cynoing into Hophib and made a drop attempt on a moros well outside shields with titan bridge + rr bs. Unfortunately as the Moros started to take fire -- a Thanatos warped @ 0 on him and bumped him inside the shields. Darn, but at least the Thanny was now well outside and died in short order closely followed by an Archon. There was a comedy Phoenix @ 200km warp-in, but our inties were off making a cup of coffee or something and that slipped out reach as well.We made way to PNQY from Hophib given 20min or so timer on the POS and as we arrived in PNQY fleet has risen to about 130, with perhaps 110 actual pilots in PNQY. Hophib local was reported at 320, with perhaps 40 caps undocked.As the timer on the POS drew near, it became painfully obvious the hostiles were not coming for it. And as we started shooting it - large numbers of BS + support were reported undocking in Hobhib and heading to the Karan gate with more caps undocking and heading to the formup POS.We made quick call for POS gunners for the nearby low sec highends, and sure enough -- asthe X13 tower entered structure some 30 dreads and 20 carriers were reported cynoing into Huna with up to 180 support reported camping a gate. We made the call to stay on the X13 POS and as it died -- hostile capitals were reported in siege with tower being reinforced in short order.We bridged over to Fountain Core again and gathered up any straglers -- at this point perhaps 130 with ships actually there. Some cyno failures slowed us down considerably, but we eventually all arrived in range of the titan within bridge range of Fobiner where the GBC forces had now entered and were cynoing capitals at. BLABS gunners had heavy lag trying to even make it to the POS and start gunning, so I knew this would turn out to be a loooooong night.Our cyno took PAINFULLY long to position as well given the circumstances and my requirements. I hope no one recorded the command chat.Anyway, eventually we were ready to go -- of course by now the hostile capitals were reported out of siege with tower close to reinforced. Ah well -- in we go anyway just as the tower enters reinforced. We come in at a grid load, out of range of the capitals so our cyno actually might survive and save us of any bridge "issues".At this stage, PL+SOT is reported at 130 with up to 90 RR BS and hostiles are reported at 50 capitals and 220 support with up to 110 BS. But we of course have a fully manned POS on our side as well.We warp down to the edge of shields where the remaining capitals are and tackle perhaps 4 and call one dread as primary. 2 minutes to the fight -- hostile support comes in at long range but at this stage -- the lag is so bad I call for anyone taking fire to just slow boat back into the shields and not even bother with remote repping. The gun cycle issue is hitting us hard with perhaps 2-3 min ROF on a pulse laser. Ben Danner's nag goes from 80% armor to 20% armor as all guns and drones cycle on him once, then howers there for another 5min being repped up.Hostiles aren't having it any better either. I ask for anyone who has lost a ship to put an x... Not a single one appears. This is maybe 15min to the fight...Hostile capitals are reported back on grid. They warped in to help save the ones being tackled, but of course now enter the lag zone and I can only assume none of the carriers were able to remote rep the capitals taking heavy fire either. At this stage, maybe 20-30 min to the field -- the Nag finally dies and we try a Carrier next. I ask the POS gunners how they're doing expecting epic kills, only to hear they've maybe fired their guns ONCE with no kills. Meh...As the carrier starts to slowly go down our losses are still minimal to non-existing with remote reps working somewhat. However, we're very short on tackle -- thus we make the call to get the nearby Sniggwaffle in on the fight and in tackling ships to the field to catch all the caps who warped back in.The fight continues at slow pace, one after another the capitals fall with very few losses reported for our side thanks to logistics and dipping in & out of POS shields. Waffe are now on the field tackling caps and all the hostile caps start to line out and make it out of our reach.We have to start following them with RR BS leaving the edge of shields -- so slowly we're starting to take some losses as well. Still, when the 4th cap dies about 10 BS only is reported lost and we keep bridging more people in from Fountain Core to replace the losses. Hostiles are also reported to be reshipping and sure enough, as the last capital on field goes down -- Ben Danner is called as primary again in a Phoon for dejavu's sake.Lag now starts to clear up, with good response to ship controls and ROF returning near normal. This is excellent news as hostiles on grid still outnumber our forces and we have to keep on toes to rep up and stay alive. Targets called also go down within 30 seconds.Given we're now 100-150km from the POS having followed the hostile fleet BS out there -- people start warping to belts and planets when taking heavy fire. We get reports of a lot of hostiles camping them, but alas can't do anything about with close to 80 BS still on the field.Fighting continues for another hour or so at the POS and sure enough, I call Ben Danner's Tempest as primary <3. A lot of the hostiles are returning to the field in BS, then second BS and then HACs as this epic battle rages on.Grid is now called to our favour and POS gunners report good response and ROF. Still -- hostiles keep on warping more to the field and another hour passes as we slowly follow the hostiles to 400km from the tower.Finally, the battle drews to an end apart from few scuffles at belts where we go in with the main fleet to rescue a tackled BS and end up killing few hostile ones. GF's are exchanged in local and salvaging/looting commences.Thank you for an epic fight GBC guys -- it was very enjoyable despite the heavy lag in the start.PL+waffle lost - 17 BS, 2 Recon, 6 Intie, 1 HAC, 1 CS and 2 Dictors (wtf?)SOT lost - 15 BS, 5 Elite Cruisers, and few supportHostiles lost: 6 Dreads, 3 Carriers, 79 BS, 23 HAC, 10 Recon, 25 Inties, 9 BC, 4 Logi, 2 HIC and various other support craft
