Dachte mir, mensch, holst dir mal fuer Fallout3 die addons und zockst die.
gesagt getan,...  dachte ich

erstmal gegoogelt wo ich das zeug runterladen kann... gewundert warum es da nichts gibt und überall was von xbox steht, wtf, was interesiert mich die xbox. irgendwann den hinweis gefunden das das über windows live geht.
Ok, live acc hab ich, also rein und los, ... dachte ich

Gut, die wollen kohle sehn, naja, was solls, also bezahlen.
dafür muss man den acc erweitern mit nem weiterem namen (HÄ?)
ok, gemacht. jetzt aber kaufen... dachte ich

nein, ich brauch erstmal MS-points, die gibt es aber direkt auf der seite nur per kreditkarte, hab ich nicht, nur paypal. Also auf ne andere MS seite (MSpoints oder so), dort natuerlich erstmal einen acc erstellen (OMG!!!!) um bezahlung mit Paypal oder kreditkarte freizuschalten, entweder anrufen lassen oder man bekommt ne postkarte

Ich will verdammt nochmal zocken und nicht zig weitere acc erstllen fuer nix und wieder nix und hier noch angaben und dort noch nen benutzernamen... und fuers bezahlen noch irgendwoanders anmelden,... ey neee, geht gar nicht.
 Da ist mir steam tausendmal lieber und das mag ich schon nicht.

FYP. Aktuell gibt es Fallout mit allen Add-ons über Steam für 25 Euro, vielleicht bist Du damit sogar günstiger dran ?

gelesen, aber irgendwie starten die add ons nicht.
Wenn ich aus dem vault rauslaufe in die erste stadt kommt nur, das meine lvlobergrenze auf 30 erhöht wurde, keine signal womit ich die add-ons starten kann.
Jemand nen rat?

Für Broken Steel musst Du den Hauptteil erstmal durchspielen, ansonsten:

Once you've downloaded Operation: Anchorage, load a saved game (before the final events of the Main Quest), or simply start a new game and get past the opening events in Vault 101. About a minute into your game, you should receive an Alert telling you about a new broadcast. The Aiding the Outcasts quest objective will be available now, so make it your Active Quest to see the source of the new radio signal.

Once you've downloaded The Pitt, load a saved game (before the final events of the Main Quest), or simply start a new game and get past the opening events in Vault 101. After a minute or so, you'll receive a message titled "Into the Pitt" reporting a new radio message being broadcast across the Wasteland. A new map marker will then appear on the northern edge of the map.

After purchasing and downloading Point Lookout, wander around the Capital Wasteland for a couple minutes until you receive a radio transmission telling you that a riverboat has docked at the mouth of the Potomac, and that its captain will offer passage to anyone wanting to explore Point Lookout.

The signal comes from a point near the northeast corner of the Wasteland. You can see the location on your map by activating the "Not of This World" quest. To get there, fast travel to the Greener Pastures Disposal Site and walk northwest. You'll know you're getting close when you enter an irradiated area (don't worry about your radiation exposure, it will be automatically healed in just a moment). wo und wie die add-ons starten habe ich mir durchgelsen.
Savegams hatte ich keine mehr (pc war ja gecrasht, vergessen die savegams zu retten)
Also neues spiel, bin nun schon ne weile raus aus dem vault, aber bekomme die startsequenz für das erste add-on nicht, obwohl das nach dem vault erscheinen soll.
Einzig die lvlbegrenzung popt nach etwa einer minute (wie es sein soll) auf.
Hab nun schon alles durchgelesen was google dazu ausspuckt, was bei steam dazu steht
hab alle daten verglichen (alle da, alle im richtigen ordner, alle ganz)
Hab beim start auf "data" gedruekct und alle add ons markiert.
Tjo aber geht trozdem nicht.

Hmm, hab jetzt mal nachgesehn welche version das spiel hat.
1.0.0.15
Kein patch oder update verfügbar bei steam.
Aus einigen forenbeiträgen kann ich aber entnehmen das diese add-ons nur ab version 1.1 funktionieren.
Normal bekommt man ja bei steam die updates. kann ich mir nun einfach nen patch ziehen und den drüber bügeln?

Glaub da kannst Du die Versionsnummern nicht mit denen des Originalspiels vergleichen, sollte also nicht daran liegen. Was anderes: Oho Proxy und so nen Müll krieg ich bei Steam nur die geschnittene deutsche Version?

Hab jetzt einen weg gefunden, wie es geht, aber so kanns ja echt nicht sein.

Statt über steam oder die fallout3.exe oder fallout3launcher starte ich mit Fallout3ng
Jermand eine ahnung wofür die datei normalerweise gedacht ist?
starte ich normal, habe ich überall dort wo addons eingebunden sind bzw die "welt" verändert wurde, weisse, durchsichtige dreiecke mit nem rotem Punkt in der welt rumstehn. Starte ich mit der fallout3ng sind die ebenfalls weg und alles läuft normal.
