Just a quick heads-up for the southern german problem.I just received a call-back from T-Online that informed me that the connection problems I reported exist and they admit that their router is the problem. They occur because the router drops connections because their peering bandwith with level 3 is saturated.Well, actually they tried some customer friendly too-many-cars on too little driving lanes stuff, but in technical facts, it boils down to the major ****up described above.
Der Fehler ist nicht, dass f-ea5.F.DE.net.DTAG.DE einen hohen Packet Loss hat, den hat er nämlich immer (20-30% sind normal), aber nur scheinbar, weil er nämlich Prioritäten setzt: Er routet zu routende Pakete und beantwortet verfallene Pakete mit ICMP-Messages nur dann, wenn er Zeit dafür übrig habt.
Wieso brauchst du für BS 5 so lange?
